About Me

I'm a 23-year-old guy in the US Air Force. Honestly, outside of tech school classes, military duties, and studying, I really dont have much of a life or free time. Before joining the military, I used to do a lot of writing, and, after a friend introduced me to Hyperbole and a Half, I decided to dust off my writing hobby, and try my hand at blogging.

I grew up in a military family, so before I turned 12, we moved a lot. I've lived in California, Great Britain, New Hampshire, Texas and North and South Dakota. South Dakota was where my parents finally decided to make home, and I've lived there since. We lived in a small, rural town with a population around 240 people, so friends there consisted of my younger brother, Joel, and the girl who lived two blocks away.

Growing up I was always "that kid." I was odd and outgoing, and always said the wrong thing at the wrong time. My parents often described raising me with my stubborn and independent nature as "riding a bike with the breaks on", only to revise this quote during my teenage years to "riding a bike uphill with the breaks on."

This blog is about the many "adventures" and interesting things that happened in my life and either impacted me greatly, or just flat out make me laugh. As it turns out, all of these stories make me laugh, and I really hope they make you laugh too.
